Las Vegas is typically thought of as a destination for lovers, newlyweds, and gamblers. However, there are a number of reasons why it is the perfect vacation spot for people with large families. The city boasts great deals that will keep your trip affordable, and there are diverse opportunities for family-friendly entertainment. You and your family will love your trip to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Las Vegas casinos plan to make most of their money off of gambling, so lodging and food are often very cheap. This can make vacations a lot easier to afford, especially for people with large families. It isn’t uncommon to see all-you-can-eat buffets for only a few dollars, and if you shop around a little, you should be able to find relatively inexpensive rooms too.
When it comes to entertainment, there are a number of family-friendly shows that you can attend. Not all Las Vegas shows features dancing girls or nudity. Be sure to do a little research about a given show before you take your children to it, though, just in case.
There are also a number of other attractions that your children will enjoy. Chocolate lovers will have fun touring M&M world and the Ethel M Chocolate Factory. If any of your children are Trekkers, they will enjoy Star Trek, the Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton. Animal lovers will enjoy the Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo Resort, the Lion Habitat at MGM Grand, and the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay.
Thrill-seeking teenagers will enjoy riding the dizzying X-Scream roller coaster at the top of the Stratosphere hotel. Children of all ages will enjoy the Fountains of Bellagio, which create beautiful and mesmerizing patterns of water that “dance” to music played on nearby speakers.
Although some of these attractions require an entrance fee, many of them are free. One of the best tings about Las Vegas is that it is a place where you can entertain and delight your children at the price you choose.
