Lodge room check-out by 11 a.m. local time. We are now pet-friendly. No more than two pets are allowed per room\/cottage. A boat dock is available. More than 25 miles of hiking trails lace the park, varying from easy to difficult. Most are less than one mile long, but interconnected trails offer the more ambitious hiker a good choice of routes over varying terrain. Visit the water park, which includes a 4,000 square-foot beach-entry leisure pool, four water slides, a spray ground; in-pool basketball and volleyball areas, and shade structures.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cabins are available for accommodating larger families. One bedroom features a queen-sized bed and the other has two twin beds. The living area has a flat-screen TV, two recliners, and a queen-sized pull-out sofa. Kitchens are fully furnished with a four-burner stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, cookware, dishes, and flatware. The surrounding forest is filled with wildlife and Buckhorn Lake has excellent fishing. Stop by the marina and ask about their fishing loaner program, where you can check out free equipment. The marina has 95 open slips, two launching ramps, rental pontoon boats, and fishing boats. The lodge swimming pool is for the exclusive use of lodge and cottage guests.
