Review Detail

We were looking for a nice place to stay a few times a year when we visit the area for our family. Had seen furniture being thrown away and figured they were investing in their property so we would give them a try. A sad disappointment. Check in was ok, but we had to go back to ask when the breakfast was available. Going to room, hallway, elevator and upstairs hallway were all in disrepair. I think my teens do a better job sweeping/mopping/vacuuming, and even painting. At least we don't have to stay in the hallway, right? Off to the room. Walk in and floor (although somewhat new) had sticky spots and looked as though it hadn't been cleaned after the last (few) people stayed. Bathroom trim, tiles, and painting was atrocious. Carpet peeling from walls and a heating/cooling unit that could be on/off hot/cold and low/high, left much to be desired. You could feel bed springs through bed, however I was sooooo tired and it was only one night, right? Woke up several times to adjust temperature throughout night but survived. Went to breakfast (extremely limited) and found they have one of those instant coffee machines where the coffee was pretty gross. Decided a Wawa stop was needed soon and went back to room to get dressed and checkout. Came to desk and he didn't even ask how the stay was which was a fitting send off the experience. Needless to say, we will not be returning and would NOT recommend.
