Comfort Inn & Suites Mitchell

On day 3 of our cross country move (from WA to VA) we decided to stop in Mitchell, SD. The Comfort Inn & suites is right off of the Highway. We had no reservation previously made (as we didn't know exactly when or where we would be ready to stop each day). With 3 adults, a teenager and 3 two-year old toddlers we were able to get a very nice sized room with 2 queens and a sleeper for $95.00 plus tax. Our best bonus was the incredible pool area (our wristbands were included in the price of the room). Let's just say between the large tube slide and big pirate ship with two smaller slides, water cannons and water-tipping buckets; no one in our group was left out of the water fun. It was not crowded, even though a person can buy access to the park without staying at the hotel. There are many shopping and food choices within walking distance. Hands down we had a great time resting & recharging for our continued journey across the U.S. We highly recommend this hotel!
