Homewood Suites St Louis - Galleria

My wife and I have 5 kids, so there are 7 of us. The room was a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchenette and living area. We didn't think that we would like the place at first; speaking to the front desk over the phone, they seemed rude and put off by answering questions about reservations & early check-in, but when we arrived they were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is ~1/4 mi from the Galleria mall and there is an IHOP across the street. The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood and we felt safe walking from the our van to the hotel lobby. The older kids (12,12,8) really enjoyed the indoor pool and the younger ones (3,2) had enough room to play in the suite. They are an ATT hotspot and have their own wired and wireless internet and offer a free hot breakfast in the morning. They only have 3 two bedroom suites so book early. I would have gave 5 stars if the rooms were on the ground floor. We will try to stay here again if we find ourselves back in St Louis.
