Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites St. Paul NE (Vadnais Heights)

The rooms were huge. Literally bigger than our first apartment. 1 bedroom had 2 double beds, the other bedroom had a king sized bed...both had plenty of room to move around. The couch also pulled out (and there was still lots of room in the living area to move around) which my oldest used because she didn't want to share a bed with her sister. Full sized fridge and the kitchen area had a nice, large table. The hotel included dishes and cutlery, both the real thing and disposable. The sink was a little bar type sink, but a sponge and dish detergent, as well as a couple dish towels, were included. And there was even a small dishwasher and detergent. Literally, everything a family needed for a home away from home. The breakfast buffet had a huge selection of hot and cold items, and was well attended by staff. My kids loved being able to make their own little pancakes. The pool and hot tub were nice. We stayed during the week so we pretty much had the run of the place. 2 family members forgot their toothbrushes and we were given replacements at no charge. I can't praise this hotel highly enough. We're definitely going back again.

The 2 q's in a room with a door between the bedroom and living room was good. The 2 little ones slept on the bed next to us (they are heavy sleepers GOOD for our sake) and the 2 older slept on the pullout couch, they had soft and firm pillows, many of them. Good breakfast with hot and cold eggs, sausage, juice cereal, donuts I got filled up. The pool was from 3 ft to 5 ft fun for the kids. The hotel was clean and the people were nice. Only 20 minutes from the Mall of America and $50 cheaper than hotels by the mall, anyway the mall hotels had no rooms with nice sized beds like this one did for ((I talked them down on price to $111 per nite
