The Comfort Inn & Suites in Rapid City is located on a hill on the southern part of town. This great location gives it easy access to many attractions south of town. Located on Fairmont Ave, the hotel is near many restaurants and tons of fast food restaurants. It is also conveniently located approximately 5 blocks from Safeway.

The rooms are a little small but still have two queens and a pull out sofa, eating table, 3 foot wide kitchenette with microwave, fridge, and coffee maker.

The bathroom and kitchenette boasted granite counter tops. Nice pool and big hot tub. Sauna and restroom in the pool area.

Breakfast included make your own waffles with 3 waffle makers. Cereal, omelets, muffins, a toaster for bread and bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt, milk, juice, coffee, oatmeal and rolls. Two attendants kept the breakfast area clean and constantly restocked.

The only negative we found was that the walls were paper thin and we could hear the guests above us. We knew when they were in their bathroom and walking across their room.

This Comfort Inn & Suites was voted #1 Choice Hotel & Suites of all 1,328 locations.

We chose this hotel because of its central location to the Mt Rushmore area, Rapid City attractions, and proximity to the Badlands.
