Hotel Details

The Pride of America is a 15 deck cruise perfect for checking Hawaii off of your family's vacation bucket list. The Pride of America sails around the Hawaiian islands on 7 night journeys. The cruise departs from Honolulu and makes stops in Maui, Hilo, Kona, and Kauai. This rigid itinerary can be a blessing as this means that no matter what time of year your family vacation, the details will stay the same.

Kids can swim the day away in on of the two main pools on decks 11 and 12, complete with four hot tubs. The animal themes children's pool on deck 12 keeps little ones busy with a paddling area and slides. As with most Norwegian cruise liners, the kids and teens clubs, Splash Academy and Entourage respectively, are a huge hit. The kids clubs set up activities, games,  and other fun events for youngsters. The teen club features video games, dance parties, and event nights.

For parents and older passengers, the Pride of America has plenty for your vacation as well. Theater fans will enjoy the 880 seat theater which features magicians, Broadways style productions, comedians, and movies. Daily fun activities are present all over the ship including morning trivia, movies, sports competitions, and poolside contests.

Hawaiian enrichment classes lead by a Hawaiian ambassador are available to educate passengers on the culture and history of the island and its people. Experience lei making  and workshops which are both educational and fun. For those who are able to stay up later, the Pride of America offers a variety of spots to enjoy long after sunset. For parents, group babysitting is available on board for those in need of alone time.

Each ship has a variety of fun activities for the whole family, so be sure to check your ship before you cruise to view what's available. Whether you're 8 or 80, there's no reason not to have fun on your getaway at sea; before breaking off into everyone's activities, enjoy some time together by planning to meet for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Enjoy the convenience of Freestyle dining. Dress down. Sit with your friends or make new ones.Dine inside or Oceanside along The Waterfront. Enjoy no fixed dining times or pre-assigned seating.

This is the time to make memories and nothing could be more memorable than setting up a shore excursion for the whole family. Plan your shore excursions ahead of time for the best chance at booking your top selections.

*Please note it is often cheaper to book two staterooms or two connecting cabins instead of one large stateroom suite - plus it gives you a second bathroom.*
